Building Bridges Life Restoration Center (BBLRC) is a 501c3 non-profit ministry that serves the unsheltered community of Tarrant County and the surrounding area. We show compassion, love, and respect as we get to know each individual. Our mission is to bring hope, restoration, and love to those in need, helping them navigate life's challenges with strength and positivity. By fostering a supportive community with a strong biblical foundation, we aim to empower individuals to overcome obstacles and thrive.
Our Story
BBLRC was established in 2021 after our founder, Kenny Thomison, went down to E. Lancaster in Fort Worth with a trunk full of watermelons to serve as he told people about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Since that time, we have had hundreds of volunteer hours logged as we have served over a thousand meals during our annual outreaches. Through generous donations, we have been able to distribute clothing, coats, toiletries, and other needed items as well. Our donation center was completed in 2023, and helps to provide household items when our friends move into their new homes.
God has certainly blessed us all along the way.
Before Kenny's passing, he chose Timothy and Charlotte to lead BBLRC into its next chapter. They continue to pour into the unsheltered community and are always grateful to the many partners and friends that help along the way.
